Unless advised in advance, all our repairs and services come with our standard 6 month guarantee. Full services on ST Dupont and Dunhill lighters come with a 12 month guarantee. Our standard guarantee includes all parts and labour, all inbound and outbound postal/shipping costs are excluded.
Most of the lighters we service are 40+ years old so can’t be returned looking like a brand new lighter. All serviced lighters will be returned well but sympathetically cleaned whilst working safely and reliably.
There is no charge for inspecting lighters however on the rare occasion we are unable to repair your lighter, if you would like to receive the lighter back, you would be liable for the cost of returning the lighter to you with UPS. This cost is £8.50 uninsured, £13.00 insured.
Once payment for the repair or service is received we will usually have your lighter back with you within 12 – 14 working days.
We are able to offer a premium ‘while-u-wait’ service for customers wanting to bring their lighters to us in person and have them repaired or serviced on the same day. This service is offered on a strictly pre-booked appointment based system and comes at an additional cost. (available on Tuesday and Wednesday only)
International shipping especially to EU countries has become more complex involving additional custom declarations having to be submitted, this is leading to delays and in some cases the possibility of import taxes being applied. We can’t be held responsible for these delays and possible charges.
We cannot be held responsible or liable for any damage or loss of lighters whilst in transit to or from us.
Due to many lighters being obsolete and spare parts no longer being available, we can longer carry out any repairs on Ronson Touch Tip and Viking lighters, Braun lighters, Caran D’ache lighters, Dunhill Dress, Type S lighters, Maruman lighters, any non branded Japanese, Korean and novelty lighters.
Unclaimed lighters will be safely disposed of after 6 months.
